I'm embarrassed to say I haven't voted ...

For my Canadian readers, they probably know there is a Canadian federal election on October 14th. However, the rest of my readers have NO idea a large geographical country but much smaller in world political power is having an election i.e. Canada. Well, we are. Embarrassingly, I haven't voted yet and as I'm out of the country I am now too late. Don't do as I do, do as I say.

So, my American Cousins (in fact I have no real American cousins but you know what I mean) - VOTE - just like the ad says (which by the way is very entertaining). Enjoy!

sadly, you would have had very little to vote for.
I may not vote, just to put in a vote of apathy. If I go and get a ballot and choose to not vote, which is an option, then I will go in the column of people who voted. when in fact, I want to protest the election and its pointlessness.

Don't listen to BP-- he is right-- the choices are ghastly and they are all behaving like little children. Well, not Mr. Harper-- he continues to be his scary, automaton, authoritarian, right-wing self. His ignorance with regard to the arts should be enough to make BP get out there and cast a ballot.

I say we need to vote because it is all we can do to make the best of a very bad situation-- maybe if we can keep the Conservatives in a minority situation we will have some hope. Or maybe not. It's still no excuse not to vote. Because there IS no excuse not to vote.
